The end of 2025 marked a significant period for Holm Bank. Within a short timeframe, the bank received several recognitions reflecting its strong financial performance, regional impact and considered approach as an employer.
In November, Holm Bank was awarded the title “Läänemaa ettevõte 2025” (Company of the Year in Läänemaa) at a competition organised by SA Läänemaa. According to Holm Bank’s CEO, Kaspar Kalvet, the recognition carries particular meaning for the bank. “Holm’s journey began in Läänemaa. Our first team started in Haapsalu, where we served our first customers and developed the mindset and values that continue to shape us today. From Haapsalu grew a bank that now provides digital financial services across Estonia and beyond,” he says, highlighting the importance of the bank’s home region in shaping its identity.
Only a few weeks later, Holm Bank received further recognition when it was named the Läänemaa county winner of Äripäeva’s “Edukate ettevõtete TOP” (Top of Successful Companies). The ranking is based on financial performance indicators and offers a comparable assessment of companies’ results. “Success reflected in figures does not happen by chance. It is the outcome of clear decisions and consistent daily work. This recognition is built on our customers’ trust and acknowledges the contribution of the entire bank team,” Kalvet notes.
In addition to its business achievements, Holm Bank was also recognised in 2025 as an employer, receiving the “Peresõbraliku tööandja” introductory label (Family-Friendly Employer). The label is awarded to organisations that deliberately create a working environment which supports employees at different life stages, balances work and family life, and encourages professional development.
Kalvet adds that supporting employee wellbeing and professional growth is an integral part of the bank’s everyday management. “A bank’s success is built on motivated people. We aim to be a strong and responsible employer, which is why it is important for us that the bank’s growth and employee satisfaction progress hand in hand. Receiving this label confirms that we are moving in the right direction. There is always room to improve, but our course is clear,” he says.
The recognitions received in 2025 reflect Holm Bank’s development both in terms of business performance and organisational culture. “We have reason to be pleased with 2025, but even more reason to continue on this path in the years ahead. I would like to thank the entire Holm team, as well as our customers and partners, for their trust,” Kalvet concludes.
