Holm Bank to Support Augustibluus in 2026

Holm Bank and the internationally renowned blues festival Augustibluus, held in Haapsalu, are renewing their partnership.

“Haapsalu is Holm’s hometown, and Augustibluus is one of the city’s key events. For us, it is important to support initiatives that bring people together, create experiences that draw people here, and have a real impact on the life of the city – both culturally and economically. Augustibluus has played this role for many years,” said Kaspar Kalvet, CEO of Holm Bank, adding that continuing the partnership is a natural step.

Holm Bank has consistently contributed to the development of Estonia’s cultural and sports landscape by supporting initiatives that create value within communities and help bring strong ideas to life. Augustibluus is one of Estonia’s longest-running and internationally recognised festivals, bringing thousands of music lovers to Haapsalu each summer, enriching the cultural landscape and supporting the local economy.

According to Augustibluus representative Martti Mutli, having a strong partner is essential for the festival.

“Holm Bank decision to once again become a main sponsor of Augustibluus is a recognition of the work we have done. It is significant to see an Estonian bank supporting one of the country’s most important cultural events. Most importantly, it is the audience who benefits – the bank’s support gives us greater opportunities to further develop the festival and to bring top-level performers from around the world.”

Festival organiser Raul Ukareda added:

“Augustibluus is more than just a music event – it is part of Estonia’s cultural heritage and an important part of Haapsalu’s identity. People know what to expect when they come here: great music, a unique atmosphere and a great crowd. For us, it is important to maintain the festival’s high standard and continue bringing outstanding artists to Haapsalu. This does not happen on its own, and partners play a vital role in making it possible.”

The 32nd edition of Augustibluus will take place in Haapsalu from 31 July to 2 August, featuring both international blues artists and Estonian musicians. Holm Bank’s support will help ensure the festival’s continued development and secure its place in Estonia’s cultural calendar.
